I guess it's up to the dog then...
My brain watching lockpicking videos: I can do that Also my brain watching lockpicking videos: I can’t do that
When 2 of my favorite channels do something in common.
When the lock is worth more than your stuff
Why did LPL get to look inside before opening them?
because it's a challenge and it's common to know what commercial locks look like inside
A knife? If only they were slash proof...
I'd say Shane is on his way to becoming a Master, but this channel has taught me that is an insult
Ough... I hope he had plenty of silver sulfadiazine on hand to heal this savage burn.
Yo. . . Don't cut the lemon and not squeeze. Pick that second lock with the precision backing in place. We need to know if there are any other vulnerabilities.
This has to be a shot in the balls. Demolished them haha crazy man
You cheated by damaging the door.
why didn't you just remove the pins from the hinges?
Does it really count when you remove the lock first to understand how it was engineered? How could you know about the upper barrel locking the pins and know to reach under and behind it with another tool if you didn’t know how it was built?
Because all patented mass produced locks have blueprints readily available. To patent something and by extension mass produce it you have to submit a blueprint to a patent office, when it's accepted the blueprint becomes readily accessible to the public so they don't violate the patent
wow, 10 minutes. must be the longest lasting lock ever
"So, these locks actually made me use 3% of my power"
i think for a regular robber trying to pick lock your door or whatever you would use this lock for wouldn't be able to get in, but then again i am not an expert.:)
Would you have been able to open them without looking at whats inside?
It's more than one minute!
The day will soon come when *stuff made here guy* will make an unpickable lock and LPL would declare by himself.....
Starts the video: “Ah, it takes him 10 mins to open it!? Impressive! 5:30 : “Oh, that was just him explaining it, still! 5 mins is pretty good! (Remembers there are two locks) : “Ooooh ok, makes sense”
Of course you are at the wrong side of the door, i.e. inside the house, which enabled you to use the knife exploit. A real thief would have been picking the lock from the other side, i.e. outside the house, where the door jamb will be blocking your knife. But you are one helluva lock picker.
Is there any chance we could get a “live” stream where you take possession of the lock and then try to pick if Shane tries again?
So can you pick the v2 lock with its back cover on?
You sir are a wizard.
This was so interesting and engaging i ate three bowls of cereal while watching
Very good prototypes - concept looks good just needs some minor changes to fix the exploits and bypasses (one of which has already been done). Exceptional work for the flaws to only be a result of inexperience in building a lock and not inherent problems with the design.
The dog barking after the doorbell 🤣
This was amazing thank you
Really think LPL was clicking the doorbell to play with the dog more than anything
Two American geniuses, LPL and SMH. God bless America!
The best locks could be made in collaboration with the lockpicker. Working together the oversights can be fixed.
I just noticed that LPL has a dog that barks every time he rings SMH’s doorbell! 🤣
what brand is that pocket knife? I've looked all over for it and can't find it anywhere. Thanks!
Every time! Every time I watch this I forget about the doorbell and then my pupper starts barking.
Dude just loves trolling his dog lol
SMH: v2 is more unpickable than v1! LPL: I'll start with v2, 10 spare seconds, and something pointy...might as well let him know I"m here.
Stuff made here dude response video felt like he was a sore loser coping
He smashed these locks like khabib does his opponent’s
Hiw do they deal with a ramset?
I'm sure lots of house robbers are fans of this guy
I’m genuinely impressed!
better title: how to break into a house
basically to pick these locks, the average lockpicker would need to have knowledge of how they are built. typical burglar will just break a window haha
Thanks! Scared my neighbors shitless
Making the dog bark, I assume, in the house each time, I'm sure no one in there will be annoyed by it :P
What was in the envelope he sent you?
Engineers everywhere: stay in your lane, lawyer.
At least it was not defeated with a Lego Astronaut
Stuff made here: Whatcha got there? LPL: A KNIFE Stuff made here: NO!
underrated comment right here
If your door's locking bolt is accessible with a knife blade it's your door that needs upgrading not your lock
This was a very enjoyable Collab.
Don't you feel you gave yourself unfair access to see what was under the lock by taking them off the door before doing the picking? You would never have know how the systems worked if you hadn't seen them beforehand.
Pick the lock on your front door
When lock makers go to bed at night they check for lpl.
Holy shit he was impressed 👏😳
this wasn't the usual "click out of 1" video. this required an engineering degree. way too much thinking for me on a casual Sunday. more proof the LPL is a genius. also, amazing job from "Stuff Made Here"
You guys are awesome! I love this collaboration!
what a fun video!
Great collaboration that was really cool
Really didn’t expect Shane to get bodied this hard lmao
I wonder if every bank in the World Has Their Eyes On You 😂
Can we just all agree to say that this man is a *Key Blade* wielder 😂
5:35 unpickable lock defeated in 15 seconds. 😂
But could you pick it, if you haven't seen the instruction?
well he just showed him the internals not instructions
Love Shane's doorbell!
@Pheonix_7789 You are quite correct; edited :)
i think it was made by stuff made here
If this guy will say he will be under your bed tonight, he wont be fucking kidding
I think it's very dishonest to test the pick proofing of a lock if you study the entirety of its inner workings and have a convenient diagram or have cut through a similar model to see inside. I know you don't claim they are but many of your videos aren't credible sources and are useless as a measure of how well the lock would deter an actual thief that's working with a time constraint without prior knowledge most of the time and I don't think you are a lock picker but more of a puzzle solver.
@Hirungolwe I can see an aspect of that. But I also think that it's dishonest to discount the product cuz it couldn't do what it wasn't meant to do.
This is like cryptography where a major rule when it comes to make encryption methods is making it the method impossible to break even if the adversary knows the technique used.
lock picking is basically puzzle solving
ALSO , hammer attack the housing because it's a 2 1/8 hole and the housing has no ring to keep it centered. Like the POS Emtek stuff.
This is the start of the greatest lock battle in history
If the video is longer than 1:30-2:00 minutes, the lock is probably worth having.
This was like thief class 101
Good.So if both locks front sides are aligned with the door surface then LPL has no chance to open them.
look at the views on his other videos... 400k, 400k, 4million, 400k. 😂
Wow. You did kinda destroy lock one but ide admirably say you would not know of its inner workings coming to it as a job in the field making the core 2 tensioning a no go as it would have been blind knolahe. Cudos for making it look so easy tho
He mounted...a doorbell? What?😂
That was great. Barely anyone in this world would think of this. Now I am interested if Stuff made here will upgrade them.
So you could protect that first picked lock by over tightening when installing, it would create an indented recess in the wood, making it impossible to use the method you did.
I love the way your dog goes mental everytime you ring the door bell.
its a sfx that stuff made here put in
Please install that door on a tree..... Please
Darn, we are lucky that you are a lawyer and not a thief
4.9m Views. Nice.
İm geting scared from this guy if he want there is nothing between him and my house 😂
By the way, the pocket knife bypass won't always work - in my country it's common practice to have a piece if material on the edge of the door that will cover up the thing holding the door in place.
Haha get LawPickingLawyered

This will be good its 10 mins compared to the average 1-2 min videos
LPL is what "Lockpicking 100" looks like irl
Video 2000: 20 locks picked in 20 seconds.
SMH: I made a unpickable lock 😛 LPL: I’m about to end this mans career.
As soon as I saw this video was 10 minutes long I knew it was a good lock
Do you think you could've picked these locks without knowing what exactly is going on inside them?
Genuinely curious, if you didnt know what the insides of the lock looked like? I wonder how much harder this would of been?
Omg yo. He barely even tried
Both of the methods you used can be easily fixed by placing the lock in the door instead of poking out and protecting the pin thing. Or just even fixing the *glitch*
3:20 can’t this method be easily fixed by placing the lock in the door instead of letting it poke out?
Can you do another video where you pick the lock with the back plate installed?
I certainly got a chuckle. Both myself and my wife found that hilarious.
